Commuter Air Technology expansion | Posted 08/17/2010

Commuter Air Technology (CAT) has relocated its corporate headquarters from Scottsdale, Arizona, to Oklahoma and Tinker Business & Industrial Park.

Commuter Air Technology provides quality enhancements that enable King Air aircraft to do more while operating more effectively and efficiently. CAT provides end-to-end enhancements, modifications, engineering and program management solutions for the King Air and its military equivalent, the C-12.

CAT's Special Mission Systems Division provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) products and services for domestic and foreign agencies and militaries, according to CAT President and CEO Darryl Wilkerson.

“The relocation of the CAT headquarters from Arizona to Oklahoma is a significant milestone for both AGC Aerospace and Defense and for Oklahoma, in general,” TBIP Managing General Partner Warren Thomas, remarked. “We believe the key to true sustainability in the aerospace and defense market is the growth of small, entrepreneurial companies who are headquartered in our state.”

Commuter Air Technology, Inc. is in the Integrated Defense business unit of AGC Aerospace & Defense, which is owned and controlled by Acorn Growth Companies. Acorn Growth Companies specializes in the acquisition of strategic, closely held later stage and corporate divestiture opportunities with an emphasis in sectors that support aerospace and U.S. Department of Defense initiatives and contracts.
