The Center for Shape Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (SEAM) has joined the growing academic presence located in the Aerospace Collaboration and Partnership Center (ACPC) at Tinker Business & Industrial Park.

“Tinker Business & Industrial Park is unique in that – through the ACPC – we have brought together the public sector, private sector and academia, all to support the growth and development of the aerospace industry in the state of Oklahoma,” said Warren Thomas, TBIP Managing General Partner.

“Having SEAM Aero and other university-affiliated entities co-located in the ACPC will help to foster true public-private partnerships,” Thomas added.

SEAM is an EDGE-funded project which utilizes University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tulsa University resources, faculty expertise and student talent to benefit the aerospace and defense industry in Oklahoma.

Capabilities include Shape Engineering (scanning, modeling, rapid prototyping), Advanced Manufacturing, Integrated Logistics, Prognostics, Research and Development, Testing & Metrology, Simulation, Technology Insertion, Training and Education.

Tinker Business & Industrial Park is a sector specific business park for defense companies engaged in aerospace/aviation, telecommunications and environmental sciences.
